50th Anniversary Welcome
2010 marks a fantastic milestone for We Care, our 50th anniversary! It is an honor and privilege to be a member of an organization associated with excellence in the field of early childhood development.
As I look back at our history and reflect on our many accomplishments, I am excited about our future of improving the lives of children with special needs.
Over the past 50 years, We Care has been the hope that many families were searching for to help their children reach their full potential and move onto successful integration into the school system.
So many families have received the help they needed for their children and with this website we have tried to share our history through photos, a timeline, and a forum where you can share your memories.
I invite you to celebrate We Care's 50th anniversary by participating in activities we have scheduled for 2010, culminating in our Little Stars Gala 50th anniversary celebration on November 6 at the Contra Costa Country Club.
