Meet Bill Guthreau...

Currently I am a Financial Advisor. My primary role is to work with our clients as an advisory partner in the areas of retirement, investment, and estate planning. I provide these services for individuals, families, and businesses. This is my fifteenth year as an advisor.

My interest in We Care Services for Children began about four years ago through a conversation I had with their Development Director. As it turns out, there is a family connection. My wife Shirley's best friend Kathy has a brother with Downs Syndrome who attended We Care Services about 30 years ago. Without We Care Services for Children, Kathy believes her brother would not be the independent functional adult he is today. We Care made all the difference.

As a member of The Board of Directors, I bring an ability to listen and understand the complex issues We Care deals with in the areas of financial reporting and legal compliance. I bring a long-term perspective to We Care's growth and development with estate and charitable planning experience, helping individuals, and organizations to consider We Care as part of their lasting legacy to our community. I see my participation at We Care Services for Children as a way to help children grow and develop into thriving individuals who will contribute to our community and the world we live in.
