Home/Community Based Programs
Both developmental and mental health programs are provided in the child's
home, pre-school, day care, in one of our offices or location best suited
to meeting the child's and family's needs. One of our licensed or pre-licensed
therapists works with the child on a 1:1 basis or in our developmental
program, we also offer a parent/child group accommodating 6 children and
their caregiver.
We Care Therapy Services, our home/community-based developmental program
offers a variety of services for infants and children who are referred
from the Regional Center and for individual private pay clients. The type
of service needed is determined after an assessment of the child's developmental
level is completed. The therapist then prepares the treatment plan and
goals for the child. Services may include occupational therapy to enhance
a child's movement, fine and gross motor development, daily living skills,
and independence; individual speech therapy to increase a child's ability
to communicate their needs and wants; parent/child group to actively involve
caregivers in their child's development, or services with a Child Development
Specialist who can address the developmental needs of a child with global
delays.
Child will benefit from this program if:
- Child needs Occupational Therapy or Speech/Language Therapy
- Child benefits from 1- 2 visits per week
- Child has mild-moderate delays in all areas or significant delays in motor
or communication
- Parent/caregiver follows through with activities
- Parent/caregiver has limited time, availability and/or no transportation

children and their parents or caregivers and we offer our services in
families' homes, in our offices, and in our therapeutic preschool. Our
services include: infant-parent and parent-child relationship therapy;
play therapy; clinical work with parents or caregivers and service providers;
